I moved back to Chicago in 2007 from DC.
Something happened since I left in 1969.
Lake effect snow REALLY got big!
Last Winter - we were kissed by snow out in Downers Grove while the Indiana
towns just 20 miles East of us were walloped.
Henceforth - I WILL believe in the horrors of what ya'all get there!

birthright here! Alberta Clippers crossing the warm expanses of Lake Michigan
have oodles of fun depositing their 'generosities' all over the place round
here!

Sorry I can't lay claims to those photos (as much as I'd like to). I do believe
that they are Arams. He's our resident flower shooter. As far as a drizzly
spring afternoon, the best I can do right now is moving 12 inches of lake
effect out of my driveway. And the damn stuff just keeps on a comming.
