Sadly, Peter, it's not just the town that has no idea how to deal with snow.
It is the drivers, as well.
OTOH, the snow is lovely, as is your photo.

That's what the NOAA weather people said. But our microclimate had------
other ideas. So my little dogwood tree had been turned into a fountain
of snow. I love it when that happens. Seattle gets little or no snow
most of the time, so this is a visual treat for us. Ask me if I feel
the same way if we have to drive in it tomorrow--this town has no idea
how to deal with snow.
