Hello, Philippe, I really like your pictures. Regarding the coquelicot, I know I would crop out the distant background, and have only the red flower in a sea of golden wheat (if it is wheat). I guess that when one is used to shooting slides, the usual tendency is to keep the whole image. Thanks for posting!
