However, it is also considerably lighter and I much prefer the depth of colour in the slightly less exposed "Here". Having railed on about altering backgrounds, please note where I said "You can even eliminate some distracting background elements by very selective exposure. So, to my mind, all these things are fair game in digital processing." Although doing his in a wet darkroom would be tricky, it is still do-able, and improves the shot, tremendously.
