Thanks for sharing your images, though I must confess that, at screen
resolutions, I see virtually no difference in the yellow flowers. But, then,
virtually everything in your shots is more than 30 feet (10 meters) away, so
I'm a little unclear as to what you've gained by using focus stacking. (Do
tell!)
Hi David,
The reason I was experimenting with FS is that taking scenic panos I wanted
sharp focus from the nearest trees and their leaves to the far horizon. Such
deep focus
enhances the quality of the photo when you blow it up BIG - like 3 feet by 5
feet. So for this purpose FS has a use beyond table top still life.
