This have been a great deal, David !
When I was a boy, we had more fun with a stick than today's children with their
ultratechnological items.
Simple is best, and sometimes, cheaper also.
Enjoy your toy :)
Cheers,
Marc

Some of you (those who were paying attention!) may remember that not so long
ago I mentioned I'd purchased a "new-to-me" 100/4 Macro
Pentax lens & bellows.

Being made for a Pentax "K" mount, I had to order a K>FT adapter, to use it on
my Oly, and that finally came in.

I spent Thursday, taking photos of a Chinese VIP delegation, as they toured our
local mine. At the outset, they gave me a
Canadian-Chinese flag pin, to wear.
I thought I'd included it along with the images of the tour. Besides, it gave
me an excuse to test out the lens.

Exposure was 6 seconds, at f22, ISO 200, using window light only. Working
distance: about 15cm or six inches. The image you see is full width of the
frame, but cropped from a four-thirds to a 3:2 (35mm)
format, to eliminate wast space above & below the pin. Otherwise, full size!

The pin is 3cm (1.25 inches) from tip to tip. Neither the printing nor the
casting is first rate, so some details are smeared in
the flags, but you can still see the screen in the printing.

My impressions? For $125 for bellows & lens - I'm pretty pleased. More tests,
with this rig, the 50/4 Macro Takumar and the 200/4
Micro-Nikkor, using something more detailed, will follow when I have some spare
(Ha!) time.

C&C welcomed, as always.

David.
