Good morning David,
You are way to kind good Sir.

The talent was always there the guy holding the "photo taking machine!" ;-)
Just needed a gentle kick in the butt once in awhile to bring out his talents
that were hidden within!

Thank you for your most kind post, I'm pleased I was of some assistance. :-)
cheers,
Dr. ted :-)

Thanks, Ted!

But, you know, some 15 years ago, I met a man. He was a photographer... and a
pretty fair one at that.

But he was a hard man to please. I'd show him my photographs - the ones I
thought were quite good. They'd be torn apart - in a friendly way, but torn
apart, nonetheless He felt that it was they way to teach - to help others
improve their skills. And, he was right.

His criticism could be hard, but it was always constructive, with clear ideas
on how to improve an image. And he was always right.

I'd been taking photos since I was 14, but over the first few years of our
friendship (and it is, for me, a great friendship) his constructive criticism,
eternal optimism and helpful suggestions allowed my photography to improve far,
far more than it had in the previous 45 years!

Since then, it has continued to evolve and improve, both through his guidance
and by my simply trying to follow his example.

His guidance, and Rose's love (for she came into my life, about the same time),
have made the last 15 or so years, the best of my life.

Photography has opened doors for us that I would never have imagined. And
helped create many more good friendships, around the world.

But it would never have happened, had it not been for the encouragement of one
man, one photographer.

That photographer is a great guy.

That photographer, Ted, is you.

Thank you.

David.
