The new Richard Avedon book titled Performance is out, it is stunning, and quite wonderful...
full of images of performers...famous and less so. Pertinent to this discussion at the outset Avedon writes..."We all perform.It's what we do for each other all the time, deliberately or unintentionally.
It's a way of telling about ourselves in the hope of being recognized as what we'd like to be."

But in real life of published work, other than maybe “art publication” I doubt they’d ever get published or ever earn you a penny, let alone dollars. I will however add…. I have lots of photos(in general) with eyes closed.Introvert (with shutting the "blades" ) is not to be thrown away , but also shows the innerside.It is a part of life.
