Good Evening, Ted! Yes... it was a might close. But Stellar's Jays are a brassy bunch, with little fear of people. At least, until you make a sudden move. It was about roughly 3 meters (10-11 feet) away. The shot you see, is about 90% of the frame... I did crop it just a wee bit. Thanks for looking!
