Good morning, folks. I sure that fellow member Tom Abrahamsson can get us all
to shake our heads with similar pricing stories for ultra rare Ferraris to
compare with the astronomical pricing of the Leica; but... did y'all notice at
the end in the notes that the seller requires 20% VAT along with the "winning"
bid? How about we just round things off and tack another USD 60,000.00 to the
"out-the-door-price".

There is a prototype lens, for the Leica R series cameras... an Apo-Telyt
mirror lens ... f5/600mm.
A protoype, it's being offered on eBay, at a mere US$229,999. (or, roughly
C$289,108!). I think what bothers me, is at that price they still want $40 for
shipping!
