Good morning to everyone. I hope that everyone on the List either resident in
areas experiencing Hurricane Ida or having family or friends in its path get
good news with the coming dawn. My crew in Covington / St Tammany Parish was
fine, as of an hour ago. Though shaken and ready for Ida to leave the parish
and state really, really soon, they still had their roofs and windows in place
and intact.
I hesitated to share the link below as many of the images are tied back into
stories from the AP that do not make for comfortable viewing, but there are
compelling images nonetheless.
I had not ever noticed the “Photography” section being openly designated before
this morning. How the photographers got their access and the views baffles and
amazes me at the same time.
