Hi David, the answer is NO for the L1 - but usually you don't need it as: a) the VF is fine enough for general purpose photography, b) when needed e.g. macro-photography or low lighting conditions with a tr= ipod, the liveview feature is outstandingly more accurate than any VF I ha= ve ever had a look through (sorry Doug for the SL's), all the more so as y= ou can adjust the screen light (now from above as well thanks to the lates= t update) and even magnify it. Hope this may help. Some snaps tomorrow as Alice's garden here is gorgeous with some many flow= ers of every colour but red (wink) Phil...x = (live from Alsace again - commuting seems to have become a second nature t= o me). ----Message d'origine---- >Date: Thu, 26 Apr 2007 12:44:18 -0700 >A: leicareflex=40freelists.org >De: David Young <telyt=40telus.net> >Sujet: =5BLRflex=5D 4/3rds system question. > >For all of you, using the various Four-thirds cameras (Leica, = >PanaLeica, and Olympus)... > >If you use Leica lenses on these cameras, via an adapter, I know that = >they will only manual focus and that aperture priority (stop down) = >metering is the rule of the day. > >My question is: Will any of these cameras offer focus confirmation = >(a light in the VF, or an audible =22beep=22) when used with MF lenses? > >Many thanks. >--- > >David Young, >Logan Lake, CANADA > >Wildlife Photographs: http://www.telyt.com/ >Personal Web-pages: http://www3.telus.net/=7Etelyt >Stock Photography at: http://tinyurl.com/2amll4 > >------ >Unsubscribe or change to/from Digest Mode at: > http://www3.telus.net/=7Etelyt/lrflex.htm >Archives are at: > //www.freelists.org/archives/leicareflex/ > ------------------------------------------------------------- Noos, votre bureau virtuel sur Internet : Mail...
