It just occurred to me that as much as my family is important in my
daily life, I have not featured them very much in my PAWs. So this week
we start with portraits of all four of us. First, SWMBO:

(I am quite pleased with this one, since I took it with the 50mm
Summilux at close range--the new focusing screen in my 1D2 certainly
helps when using Leica lenses).
Then, my son--we went to check out a newly opened pub in our town on

My daughter, drinking hot chocolate at a hotel in Hilversum. It is near
her school, and I sometimes take her there if we arrive at the school

The Binnenhof in The Hague, the seat of the Dutch government. I was
walking around there last Sunday when the heavens opened up. What you

The last two are from the town of Zaltbommel, along my route to work. I
stopped in there Thursday morning--I was running early and it was a nice
