I really enjoyed the CBC at White River Lake. thank you for including a
Novice. I learned a lot from Phillip Kite. I had never been there before.
What a place-sad but also beautiful parts. The pot luck was so much fun. I
enjoyed the count down.

The White River Lake CBC will be held on Saturday, 31 December 2016. We will
meet at the White River Lake Marina at 7:30 AM, count until 4:30 or so, meet up
at the marina at 5:00 (to make sure that all the teams are in - and to get
directions to Drew and Katheryn's house), and then drive back to Lubbock to
meet up at Drew Harvey's and Katheryn Watson's place for drinks, supper, and
the countdown. We have to do it this way - this year - because the marina is
closed for New Year's Evening.
I would like to have at least 13 counters, 5 of whom must be willing to be area
leaders. I have the 5 leaders but still need 4 more counters - all of which
would be assigned to the lake teams ... with the tastiest habitat.

If you are interested in participating in this count, please let me know as
soon as is possible. Water levels are good at the lake, the region has a good
seed/fruit/ insect crop ... and we could run across some really cool birds in
our one, below the caprock CBC.
