Greetings All:
I was stuck at work a bit late today (still catching up with all the work I
missed during the TOS meeting).
Any grumbling stopped when I cleared the western end of the TTU HSC Library
and saw two immense, white birds flapping their way slowly to the south.
They were obviously swans and, though I tried mightily to make their
proportions work me into a frenzy of trumpeting, they were mere Tundra
Swans.
Folk in Lubbock should keep an eye out for these critters at our in-town
playas over the next few days.
