There is also a trash cleanup at Leroy Elmore Park tomorrow from 10:00am -
1:00pm (come and go as needed). This cleanup is in conjunction with the
South Plains Texas Master Naturalist organization and a local gym
volunteering for this community service project. Anyone interested is
invited to participate. All supplies including trash bags, gloves, grabbers
and safety vests will be provided. It’s a good time to make things better
for the birds there while the lake is low. Come out if interested.
For both events, masks and social distancing will be enforced.
