Hi All,
I finally saw the Anna’s just before six this evening. My hummingbird feeders
on the west side of the house are pretty much frozen and the one on the
southside has no ice. I will bring the feeders in tonight and replace the
sugar water with the three parts water to one part sugar solution. Hopefully,
they will not freeze when I replace them tomorrow morning.
I went to Clapp Park this morning and did list 25 species, the only unusual
bird was a single Red-breasted Nuthatch found in the three large pines on the
south side of the lake. The showers we had last night increased the water on
the south side culvert by just a little, enough that waterfowl were there.
Stay safe and stay warm!
