As some of you may have noticed, ExtractFace is not longer working with
Firefox 55 and there is no long term solution for now.
ExtractFace depends on an add-on called MozRepl which allows communications
between ExtractFace and Firefox. MozRepl is a "legacy" add-ons and Mozilla
has decided to disable the legacy add-on system in Firefox 57 Stable (ref.:
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Add-ons/Legacy_add_ons). After that,
only extensions developed using WebExtensions APIs will be supported.
After updating Firefox 55, most of your add-ons will probably be tagged as
obsolete and unfortunately, that would include MozRepl. Even if you
activate it, it won't work.
So what are the solutions?
There is a few solutions out there. Take a look at

For me, I've decided to switch to Firefox ESR (
https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/all/) that should work,
at least since march or june 2018.
In the meantime, I hope there will be a long term solution available.
