Why focus on either? What you focus on depends on what you are analysing and
what question you are trying to address.
How many strengths of (for example) SG we identify and what each strength looks
like will depend on the object of study, the data and the question.
There is no universal measure for any LCT concept.
In LCT we develop translation devices to enact concepts. I suggest reading
chapter 2 of “Knowledge-building” and looking at a variety of uses of the
concepts of SG and SD to see how others have developed their own translation
devices.

Hello everyone
I'm a new member and forgive me for sending this question. I've a simple
question about semantic gravity and density in writing. Should we focus
during analysis on sentences OR words/technical vocabulary? This is not clear
to me, and I wish I could find simple examples to start with.
Many thanks in advance,
Jory
