I can't believe it's December already! We had a fun Assembly today with Tim
Hunt. The children made holiday place mats using festive images and contact
paper (all lovingly prepared by Anne). They were definitely a hit! Next Sunday
is singing with Steve in preparation for the Christmas program on the 17th.

Pre-K/K: Betty and Lauren introduced the children to singable book versions of
The Friendly Beasts. They finished their testimony on peace by reviewing
meanings and songs, and worked on their peaceable kingdom collages.
Elementary: Sarah and Hugh discussed Advent with the children, and discussed
different ways families prepare for Christmas. The boys made ornaments and snow
globes to take home.
Teens: The teens held JMM with Chuck and Nicole. They made plans for Interfaith
visitation next semester, and totaled the money from the cookie bake ($290 for
hurricane relief in Puerto Rico). Very impressive!
