Friends--
The FCNL Policy Committee has asked us to help discern their
legislative priorities for the next Congress. The Policy Committee will
spend time considering submissions from Quaker Meetings, churches and
organizations, and discern what might be FCNL's priorities to pursue with
the 117th Congress. This Spirit led process is what sets apart our Quaker
Lobby from many other groups;, which determine their priorities very
differentlhy.
We will be holding a virtual second hour on 4/26/2020 after rise of Worship
to consider what Langley Hill Friends might discern. We ask you to spend
some time reviewing the current list of priorities and then see how you are
led to counsel FCNL for next year.
The current list of priorities can be found here:

Thry might be useful in your consideration.
The legislative priorities process is described here:

We look forward to this second hour. If you have any questions, please
contact Ollie Moles, Walter Brown or myself.
Thanks,
Bill Mims
