Speaking of flycatchers, I found this one about a week ago at Buford
park. After spending half an hour searching the Internet, I tentatively
concluded it was a Gray, in part because it periodically bobbed its tail
downward. I would appreciate correction or confirmation.

I had a strange empid on top of the Butte today, that falls into
the Dusky/Gray category, it was fairly pale, and gave "whit" calls
but what got me the most was that it had a surprisingly long bill.
Unfortunately I saw no tail bobs.
