At Royal from platform we noticed a smallish bird, yellow breast, white
belly, yellow vent, yellow undertail coverts. To the best of our memory, longish
tail( not a marsh wren) gray/brown back and head, white partial eye ring, thin
bill. Moving among the brown dead clumps between gravel road and platform.
Perching similar to wren on long stalk and also making little chip chip
scolding but not as loud and aggressive as marsh. Also not a Common
Yellowthroat. We thought YB Chat but the yellow underneath and the slender
shape didnt seem right.Maybe a female something? Any thoughts?
