Diane Pettey and I had at least 4 Blue-gray Gnatcatchers at Pisgah today. We
had a pair at the creek on trial #6 . We had a second pair on trial #3 in the
oaks where the trail zig zags up the hill. The pair in the oaks were collecting
moss from the oaks for nesting material.
There could have been as many as 5 as Diane thought she heard 3 on trail #6.
