if you want to avoid all this, buy a midiman 2 x 2.  The MPU-401 will drive
you nuts as it did me.

The only thing now that I cannot figure out is how to play these wicked
sounds from combi, prog on my Cakewalk, Sonar, Logic, Pro Tools.
