Thanks Kevin!  How can I tell if they are running in standalone mode?!

Good morning,
James was able to help me through my question, but something else has come
up.  I am running a Ender 3 with the 1.1.5 “Silent” mainboard and a BLTouch.
I see that there is a config file for the stock E3, but I am wondering if
anyone has a setup similar to mine or if someone would help me with the
needed edits.

Unfortunately, as I understand it, Creality has a few different boards
that appear similar but are if fact notably different.  If you have
the board with tmc2208 drivers that are running in "standalone mode"
then that board is not compatible with Klipper - see:

Otherwise, you can use the example ender3 config as a guide, or the
config at this PR: https://github.com/KevinOConnor/klipper/pull/1696
