Hello,
when trying to compile the micro rocessor code for my melzi/X5S board i
found out, that flashing the board is fixed to the arduino protocol.
Because i use a AVR dragon i had to change this into dragon_isp. The
second problem relates to the interface avrdude will use. The AVR
dragon uses the usb port instead of any /dev/ttyXX.
I succeeded in compiling my Melzi version, but the changes where just
hacks. I am now looking for the correct way to integrate the AVR dragon
in the config file. IMHO we should add a prompt in the AVR menu for the
AVR dragon and allow usb as a device for flashing.
Question: what is the "correct" way - concerning the git workflow - if
i want to contribute the necessary changes?
