Toyota investiert 35 Millionen Dollar in ein Hightech-Forschungsprogramm, um

Hyundai arbeitet an Elektroauto-Plattform
Hyundai entwickelt seine erste dedizierte Architektur für reine
Elektrofahrzeuge. Der Autobauer bereitet einen großen Vorstoß in das wachsende
Segment vor, indem er mehrere Modelle mit längeren Reichweiten anbietet. Die
Klein- oder Kompaktwagen würden eine Reichweite von mehr als 300 Kilometer pro

ZF legt Geschäftszahlen für 2016 vor
Der Autozulieferer ZF Friedrichshafen hat am 30. März seine Geschäftszahlen für
das Jahr 2016 präsentiert. Demnach stieg der Konzernumsatz um 20,6 Prozent auf
35,2 Milliarden Euro, die bereinigte EBIT-Marge legte um einen Prozentpunkt auf
6,4 Prozent zu und der bereinigte Free Cashflow belief sich auf zwei Milliarden
Euro. Das Ergebnis lag 2016 mit rund 924 Millionen Euro leicht unter dem Gewinn

Mitsubishi Electric entwickelt Technologien für 3D-Karten
Mitsubishi Electric arbeitet an Technologien für die automatisierte Erstellung
von Straßenkarten. Darüber hinaus stellte der Konzern Anwendungen vor, die bei
einer Landschaftskartierung nur die veränderten Elemente aufnehmen und auf
künstlicher Intelligenz und dem Mobile Mapping System beruhen. Die neuen

Caterpillar und FIT schmieden Allianz
Die oberpfälzische Firma FIT und Caterpillar haben für die kommenden drei Jahre
eine Allianz abgeschlossen. Mit der Vereinbarung wollen sich die beiden

aus Additiver Fertigung konzentrieren. FIT und Caterpillar möchten so die

Automotive supplier ZF Friedrichshafen presented its annual results for 2016 on
March 30. Group revenue jumped 20.6 percent to 35.2 billion euros, while the
adjusted EBIT margin climbed one percentage point to 6.4 percent. Adjusted free
cash-flow amounted to two billion euros. With about 924 million euros, EBIT was
