Congratulations Cezar Cezar was also responsible for providing the Club with two truckloads of racks, and high quality parts several years ago when the company he worked for was updating their clients full rack of equipment with a suitcase model and he convinced them that we would recycle it and put it to use rather than it end up in a landfill. 73 Chip, VA3KGB ---------------------------------------- From: Steve Cutway <ve3kc@xxxxxxxxx> Sent: February 9, 2012 11:35 AM To: karc@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [karc] Congratulations to Cezar Hello everyone: I draw your attention to the RAC Bulletin I just posted. I am proud to say that I was the first amateur Cezar met in Kingston. He worked in the Geology Department at Queen's as did my friend Dave, who Hamfest attendees will know as the computer seller. Dave told Cezar about me and he came to see me. He wanted the call VE3YC which was taken at the time, so he settled for VE3LYC. He's done well for himself both inside and outside amateur radio and this award recognizes in no small way his extensive contributions to the hobby. At a time when some wonder about the future of amateur radio, Cezar reminds us why the hobby exists and why it will continue. Congratulations, Cezar. Cheers & 73s, Steve VE3KC
