We use asciidoc to create the documentation.
It is just a plain text format, but can be converted to other formats
like HTML,DocBook,LateX,XML and PDF easily.
The HTML files in the repo are the outputs of the asciidoc text documents.

check the asciidoc website for more info.

asciidoc is very very easy than LaTeX as it looks like just a wiki formatting.

Happy to know that you are interested in contributing.
Get the syllabus content from here
http://www.ilugc.in/content/open-source-lab-syllabus-anna-university

You can choose your desired task from the list
http://code.google.com/p/foss-lab-manual/issues/list

Learn asciidoc and start creating lab manual or study material for any topic.

Send us a patch :-)
Will add you as a committer then.

We need more reviewers, editors, proof-readers, content creators.
Please contribute.

This is a community project.
We help the students to face the open source lab in the next semester.
Without these efforts, they will scare to face the lab.

This effort will show the students that there is a big community to
help them to learn the open source technologies.

We only have to check the manual, proof read, edit, fix and have to release.
