I think it might be important to define ourselves as a kanthari global network,
not an alumni organisation.
Usually alumni groups are started/supported or have some connection to the
graduating organisation.
Many times they look at their graduates to fundraise for the parent
organisation.
We are more of a network of grass root projects started by kanthari alumni.
To keep our image clear and ethically clean, I have decided I cannot recommend
Bethany Society as a partner.
Their model and fundraising techniques are too charity-based and are not as
transparent as I would like.
