Kirk Lippold talks tonight on USS Cole attack. Months before 9-11, the USS Cole, a US guided missle destroyer was attacked by Al Queda in the port of Yemen killing 17 US sailors. Kirk Lippold was the Commander of the Cole that day and takes you there to see the attack from the Commander’s perspective. Kirk’s presentation will make you laugh, cry and feel intensely proud to be an American. Along the way you will learn a tremendous amount about dealing with extreme leadership challenges and the dedication of our American service members. This free presentation sponsored by the Freedom Museum starts at 7 PM tonight, March 27th, at the Manassas Regional Airport Terminal Building. Kirk is an Instrument rated pilot currently working on his Commercial certificate with Aviation Adventures.
