Subject: Fwd: Bird Management Support

Ed:
Could you please forward this to the DC pilot's group for me?
We are working really hard to stay ahead of the birds this year and it really
is a joint effort.
Thank you so much,
Julie

As you may know, over the last few years ProJet has taken significant steps to
reduce the bird activity at the Leesburg Executive Airport:
Although we have had some success, it is important to understand that this is
an ongoing battle that may take many years to resolve.

Bird activity and bird strikes pose a serious safety threat to all aviators and
citizens of the town of Leesburg.
In fact, bird and other wildlife strikes to aircraft annually cause well over
$700 million in damage to U.S. civil and military aviation.

We need your help!

As the nesting season approaches, I would like to ask for your assistance to
maximize the impact of our efforts as follows:
Please plug or cover and openings on individual aircraft to prevent nesting.
If you need to purchase supplies to do so, ProJet will make these items
available to you at wholesale pricing.
Please plug any holes and openings in all hangars to make them undesirable
nesting locations
Thank you for your continued support.  We realize that this is a group effort
and will take everyone's join cooperation and diligence.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions,
Julie
