A special notice to pilots in northeastern West Virginia ==> ATTENTION PILOTS <== FAA TO ESTABLISH TFR OVER MARTINSBURG ON WEDNESDAY AOPA is sending this message to advise pilots in northeastern West Virginia that the FAA has issued a notam restricting flight over Martinsburg during President Bush's planned visit on Wednesday, July 4. There will be a large 30-nautical-mile-radius temporary flight restriction (TFR) centered on the MRB VOR's 286-degree radial at 6.4 miles, extending up to Flight Level 180. It will be in effect from 8:55 a.m. local until 11:45 a.m. local on Wednesday. Also, there will be a smaller 10-nm-radius GA no-fly zone in effect within the larger TFR during that time frame.
