SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- BlueLight.com , a wholly
owned subsidiary of Kmart Corporation (NYSE:KM), announced today that is
has filed a motion with the federal bankruptcy court seeking approval of
the sale of assets related to its Internet access (ISP) business to
United Online, Inc. (NASDAQ:UNTD).
The sale of the ISP assets will not affect the Kmart.com online shopping
site.
Under the terms of the agreement, United Online will pay, subject to
potential adjustments, approximately $8.4 million for the assets of
BlueLight.com's ISP and email service.
