Hi, Victor and Tim,
Such a shame that accessibility has come to a halt at present. I know that we
have all greatly benefitted from your efforts and value the work that you
dedicated to making sonar accessible. I feel that if there is a way to continue
jsonar’s web availability it keeps it on the map, so to speak. I just want to
say a huge thank you as you have allowed me to record my work in a very clean
and professional way. Bless you.
Kind Regards,
Alison Trelfa.

Hi Vic,
I’d be prepared to host the site if the view is that it should be continued.
Just let me know and we’ll sort it out.
All that I’d ask is a few days, as my entire family are suffering with the flu
at the moment.
Best wishes.

Hi Victor,
I fully understand the need to ask this question, as pointed out especially if
you are paying to host the site.
There are certainly alternatives to JSonar emerging with Reaper, PT and the
much anticipated Sampletude – however I still think the majority use JSonar,
however this is not the question, relating to the need for the website the
important thing is knowing that the information contained on it is still
available and accessible for those that want it.
This could mean collating the content into a zip of html files which is left on
dropbox or freely distributed upon request between members on midimag – if the
there is unlikely to be any updates then the content is effectively frozen, but
as long as that data is there it doesn’t really matter what form that takes.
Kind regards,
Chris

Subject: [jsonar] JSonar website, do we still need it?
Hello all.
I have not been updating the jsonar.org website in a while because 1. there is
not much to update the content with and 2. I do not have the time for this any
more.
How many people here still use the website and how many really need it for
anything?
Best,
Victor
