Frank,

The AF2 file is created using an airport design tool and as part of that the
designer enters the details of the field - Lat. Long, Airport Code, Aiport
Name, Country, Region among others. Gerry enters 'UK Farmstrips' in the
country field so he can easily identify the strips from others within the
UK. I prefer to use 'United Kingdom' as the contry identifier which is why
AF2 files I make show up under 'United Kingdom' rather than 'UK Farmstrips'.

Thanks Paul
But strangely it popped up in the United Kingdom list, not in the UK Farm
Strip List (still comes up as X3RI as nearest). No matter, it works. Now got
to update FSC and P-G databases.

It doesn't work like that Frank, the airport code is coded within the AF2
file itself. Try replacing your AF2 file with the one attached.

Renaming AF2_X2RO.BGL to AF2_X3RO.BGL made no difference, I still have 3
other ROTHWELLx.BGLs, I assume the code is in there and cannot be changed.

Rothwell is X3RO. I don't know how X2RO has crept into use but it is
incorrect as this is the code for Rochester.

Lane Farm to Wadswick, a 0400Z takeoff. Just light enough to see
without lights. A lovely sunrise to my left. (Twilight zone). Paul,
for Rothwell, I have X2RO, not X3RO. BTW A thunderstorm rumbling
around MK at the moment,1330Z, light showers so
far
