I've not used Elements and I only have a really old version of Photoshop but I
rarely use that either. These days I generally shoot in RAW mode then use
Olympus Viewer 3 which is, in essence, a proprietary version of lightroom for
tasks like correcting contrast/ saturation / white balance etc. However, rather
than purchase Lightroom, could I suggest a freeware alternative which might
meet your needs?

Pro. Has anyone used both and any opinions as to which is the better?
Bear in mind I've always used Photoshop Elements and feel at home with it.
