M-ANIC?
M-ODEL?
M-ORAL?
M-OODY?

M-ESIC (dictionary definition: adapted to life with a moderate supply of
moisture)

Then theres
M-UCID (dictinary def. Mouldy; Musty)
M-AZUT One for Tom perhaps (dictionary definition: Petroleum residue after
distillation).

I'd avoid M-IXEN though, (dectionary def.: Dunghill)
While we're at it, the dictionary also defines MORSE as a type of Walrus!

Given all of these I think I ought to opt for M-OMUS (dictionary def.
Satirist; Critic)
