Hi Dave: According to Jaws help, insert plus windows key followed by r should
produce the wictionary result, bypassing the research it dialogue box. This
still does not work for me.

However, I have updated as suggested, and now wiktionary does work going
through the research it dialogue box.

  Stan,

You wrote: ...Also, jaws key plus windows key followed by R does not work for
me. Only jaws key plus space bar followed by r works.

Correct. It's supposed to be JAWS+Spacebar then R.

Can't help with your other problem. I presume that you do have a "always-on"
Internet connection?

Listers: When I use wiktionary in Research it, it always comes back that it
searched for my word and found no results. I tried some really common terms
just for test. Same result.

Also, jaws key plus windows key followed by R does not work for me. Only
jaws key plus space bar followed by r works.

    Any suggestions or comments?

    Stan
