He said he thought it might be JAWS or other screen readers not focusing
which implies that he was using JAWS some of the time. He also said that
he's sure it happens with NVDA and other screen readers. It wasn't a NVDA
question.

You probably had a sticking modifier key like CONTROL, ALT, or WINDOW.
Why are you sending NVDA questions to the JAWS list?

I guys don't know if it's the screen reader or me, Just now on Facebook. I
posted a comment and wanted to post a followup when I went into the edit
field I started to type but suddenly firefox acted as if it was starting and
kicked me right out of facebook. I heard the little clicks firefox makes.
I'm sure it happens no matter what screen reader I use and am sure I had
gone into focus mode on NVDA. any idea what is happening is it jaws or NVDA
not focusing?
