Hi

Again, the files go to:

c:\documents and settings\user name\application data\freedom scientific\jaws\6.2\settings\enu

You can press enter on the file and Windows xp will show you the contents of the zip file but they are not unzipped yet. You must first go to the file menu and press enter on extract all... and then follow the directions in the extraction wizzard. Make sure all 10 files in the zip archive are unzipped to c:\documents and settings\user name\application data\freedom scientific\jaws\6.2\settings\enu
If the JAWS scripts need to be recompiled, you will get a message telling you so. Either that or the scripts will not work as advertised and you should then recompile them. I hope this puts better light on this. BTW in the original message that mentioned the correct path, the ENU folder is spelled E N U.
The spelling was E N E W which is incorrect.

okay, but can you tell me what to do now. Here is what I have done. I got the file and placed into the specified folder, now it looks as if there are 10 files. I wonder what the next step is.

I didn't have to re-compile. I also used the Merge utility to move them from 6.1.

Do you need to compile the scripts or just dump them in? I will unzip them to the directory you said.

Subject: using scripts with jaws 62

Hi I had some winmx scripts which I used with jaws 5.0. I recently downloaded the 62 from freedomscientific and now the scripts aren't working. I don't know how to get them to work ither, can someone tell me how to do so? I have talked to some fellow friends who use jaws and I get answers that have to do with script manager etc. Looking for a workable answer if there is one. Is any using the winmx scripts with 62?
