I am using jaws 6 on the laptop as none of the later versions will load. Would it be anything to do with the fact that I have xp home? Don't know how to find out the model number. Thanks Linda ----- Original Message ----- From: Roden To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Monday, November 28, 2005 8:33 AM Subject: Re: updating jaws Hi Linda! I was in receipt of your e mail and I would like to ask what model of your Sony Bio laptop? Because, I have a friend that has the same brand of laptop and I'm having a problem with her sound card. PCG-7A1M is the model of her laptop. her sound card is RealTech HAD. but, after I install the drivers for her sound card, I have no luck and until now, she cannot use her laptop. About what you are asking, you can try to load the Video chain manager. Go to Start menu, Program sub menu, JAWS sub menu, Tools sub menu, and look for Video intercept. Once you load it, look for the option that says, "Install Video intercept". After you installed, click the close button or exit button to close the windows. Restart your computer and once he came back, try doing it again.
