Judith,

That isn't any problem at all. it's a normal Word procedure that you can
toggle around to make your text left aligned, which is normal, or right
justified, or centered.

In the document, press control A to select all. Now just press Control L,
which will left align the entire document. Now unselect by pressing an up
or down arrow key, and there you go.

Contrlk Should you wish, control r will right align, and control e will
center everything. You do have to know when to do this, but for this
present purpose my instruction is all you need.

Subject: un-justifying

I have a manuscript that is justified. I want the left side to remain
justified with paragraph indentations but I don't want the right side
justified. How can I un-justify the right side? Thanks, Judith
