Reinstall winamp.
Make sure that you select a classic scheme this time.
This will solve your problem.

Subject: unable to get into Winamp preferences
as I've said, I can no longer do this. I can still start, pause and stop
play with single letter commands, but that's it. I thought to go into my
personal Jaws 9 settings and see what sorts of script files I had for
Winamp. I don't know what to make of this: Where the scripts for other
applications like AdAware show up as several files with familiar Jaws-style
extensions like.jss and so forth, the one Winamp line in that folder has the
extension .tmf. I have no idea what this means, or if I'm looking at the
reason why I can't access functions and menus in Winamp.
Any suggestions?
