Hello.

Does your friend have jaws for Windows starting automatically? If this is
the case and the headphones or USB headphones the USB connection is a
different sound card and jaws for Windows will only use the last installed
soundcard when starting automatically. To fix this problem if this is your
problem you need to go into the jFW.ini file and set the particular sound
card you want to use. If this is your problem you can find more information
about this on the freedom scientific site.

I hope this helps.

Subject: trouble hearing jaws

I have a friend running either jaws 7 and 9. for no apparent reason she can
only hear jaws through headphones. Playing a CD or music from her hard drive

works fine through the speakers. She has re installed jaws and still no
luck. We have checked everything we can think of. Any suggestions would be
welcome.

Shannon
