Hi in the miranda options under messages you will see a tree view at the
end 
With check boxes in them check all the boxes and messages will pop up.

Hi Jim,

Miranda is working perfectly for me, with the exception of not being
able to get incoming messages to automatically pop in the taskbar, and
not in the tray. But, even that isn't a problem when sound notifications
are enabled so that I at least know there is a message available.

Anyhow, I always like to try knew things. So, if you'd like to try a
hand at scripting Trillian, I'd be happy to test it out.
