Or simply check all the check boxes in the tree at the end in option
under message
This causes miranda to put up a dialog showing the new message. And you
are going to have the same problem with the other program but there is
no way to fix it so far.

wWhat version of miranda are you using? I really don't like the new
version
of it and couldn't get the older one, that's why i'm looking in to
trillian.
I've tested miranda both for myself and friend who has vision and
miranda's
msgs popping up in the tray vs. the taskbar is definitely not a good
