Ok, from your message Steve, I am guessing that at some point during all 
this, JAWS is crashing which requires the use of Narator to read the 
dialogue. I'm not sure but it's probably something to do with McAffee. You 
should be able to install Norton most of the way, but the only thing you'll 
need to have sighted help with is that the newer versions require you to 
enter a product key which is located on the back of your  Norton cd 
cover.  You can have a sighted person read this to you, and then for future 
reference, you might like to have a braille copy made and attach it to the 
back of the cd rom so if you ever need to re-install you won't need any 
help entering the product key.
