I am not sure what is going on here. Look at your start menu to see if you
have JAWS 7.1 installed. It could be that you don't have it installed or that
7.0 is the one that is set to start with windows.

You got it Roy, according to the about box I never downloaded 7.1 but am
still using 7.0. I downloaded it (or thought I was downloading it) from the
help menue and I thought the download ended when I got the finish button.

Just for clarification can you give me the exact
Version of Jaws from the about box? Also befor you use CTRL + f make sure
that the virtual cursor is active. Use alt + delete to verify this.

I just downloaded the jaws 7 patch to use with IE7. I just went to a web
site and I still couldn't use the find function control f, I needed to use the
jaws find. Is everyone having this problem?
